The triangular trapeze rings have a flat bottom for easier hand holding and are made of a durable aluminum alloy that is highly polished for a long-lasting shine. The rings now have a wider grip handle to meet ASTM standards. The inside diameter of the ring is 4.5 inches and the bottom grip is 1 inch in diameter. The hole for S-hook is 1/2″. This product can be used with the A6500, A6000, A5950, and A5725. It is expected to last for 2 years in harsh conditions and up to 5 years in optimal conditions, though some conditions may require replacement sooner. The weight of each ring is 0.95 pounds, and it has a tensile strength of 2800 pounds. The price is per ring.

Also these publications are updated frequently with changes therefore, you should read these publications yourself to determine if any part or installation could prove a danger to a child.

Installation: Our parts are sold as either replacement parts or components of a set, unless you are buying our Metal Frame Set, therefore these parts need to be installed according to the sets installation instructions. Take one S-hook or H-shackle and attach one end to each eye of ring and one end to last link of the chain. Close according to Figure A1.19 for Fastening Devices. Make sure that fasteners are strong enough to support weight and use. We suggest at least 5/16” diameter fasteners. WARNING: Once the S-hooks have been re-opened they will have to be replaced to avoid injuries from coming open and/or breaking. Make sure that if you are using shackles they are also tightened.
Safe Use: This is for children 4-12 years old only. Adults should supervise children at all times. Do not allow children to stand on or use unsafely. Rings are considered exercise equipment and are not recommended for public playgrounds unless suspended by chains 7” or less. Do not allow it to be used if damaged or wet.
Maintenance: At the beginning and end of each play season and once a month during play season, check for sharp edges and/or cracks. Check for vandalism. Check for rusty or worn chain. Replace parts if necessary. Check to make sure S-hooks and/or H-shackles are closed properly. Maintain detailed inspection and maintenance records for public-use playground equipment.
