Harness material is made of woven water resistant polypropylene with plastic side release buckles. Fully adjustable harness that secures child by both shoulders and waist. The seat should last 2 years in harsh conditions and up to 5 years in optimal conditions. Some conditions may require replacement sooner.

Installation: Our parts are sold as either replacement parts or components of a set, unless you are buying our Metal Frame Set, therefore these parts need to be installed according to the sets installation instructions. View video to attach harness on our website. To install the harness, unsnap the crotch strap from the rest of the harness. Thread short belt through the back crotch hole and come back up through the front hole, thread strap through back hole of the buckle from the bottom, then down through the front hole. Adjust as needed. Take the wide strap and thread down through the right side of the seat. Come up through the left side from the bottom to the top of the seat. Take the l shaped buckle and thread up through the front of the male buckle that says rock lockster then thread strap down through the back hole of the same clip. Clip to crotch strap. Pull out one side of the thin strap from upper buckle and thread through the top of seat hole from front to back and come up through left side top hole. Then rethread through buckle to adjustment strap. Connect to buckle on wide strap that is the other buckle on the l buckles. Adjust straps to fit child.
Safe Use: This seat is for children up to 125 lbs. only. Check with medical advice to see if it is safe for child to use this swing. Adults should help children in and out of seat, and supervise children at all times. Do not allow children to stand on seat or use unsafely. Do not use if wet. Do not allow swing to be used if damaged. Remove harness when not in use, as the harness may pose a strangulation danger if attached to the swing and not being used.
Maintenance: At beginning and end of each play season and once a month during play season, check for sharp edges on hardware and/or cracks in plastic. Check for vandalism. Check for rusty or worn chain. Replace parts if necessary. Check to make sure shackles are closed properly. Check resilient surfacing for appropriate depth and cleanliness. Maintain detailed inspection and maintenance records for public-use playground equipment.
