Made of durable metal and coated with vibrant plastisol, this 20” long trapeze bar features a comfortable 1 1/16″ diameter handle and a secure ¾” eyelet for attaching to an S-hook. The plastisol coating provides extra grip and helps protect the metal from the elements, ensuring long-lasting use. Compatible with our A6500, A6550, A6000, A5900, A5950, and A5725, this trapeze bar is a versatile addition to any playset. With a tensile strength of 1000 lbs., this trapeze bar can hold up to your little ones’ wildest imaginations. Please note that while this product should last up to 5 years in optimal conditions, some environments may require replacement sooner.
**Installation, Safe Use and Maintenance Instructions**
IMPORTANT: Please read for important information. In this material we have tried to provide some requirements stated in the CPSC Handbooks, ASTM F2373-11, F1487-11 and F1148-09. However, we in no way intend for this to be a complete list of requirements. Also these publications are updated frequently with changes therefore, you should read these publications yourself to determine if any part or installation could prove a danger to a child.
To help keep children safe from harm, review installation and maintenance instructions before installing equipment. Installation: Our parts are sold as either replacement parts or components of a set, unless you are buying our Metal Frame Set, therefore these parts need to be installed according to the sets installation instructions. If the installation instructions differ from ours please contact us at 800-433-2573.
Take two S-hooks or H-shackles and attach one end to each eyebolt of trapeze bar and one end to the last link of chain. Close according to Figure A1.19 for Fastening Devices. Make sure that fasteners are strong enough. We suggest at least 5/16” diameter fasteners. WARNING: Once the S-hooks have been re-opened they will have to be replaced to avoid injuries from coming open and/or breaking. Make sure that if you are using shackles they are also tightened.
Safe Use: This is for children 4 – 12 years old only. Adults should supervise children at all times. Do not allow children to stand on or use unsafely. Trapeze bars are considered exercise equipment and not recommended for public playgrounds. Do not allow it to be used if damaged or wet.
Maintenance: At beginning and end of each play season and once a month during play season, check for sharp edges and/or cracks especially around eye bolts. Check for vandalism. Check for rusty or worn chain. Replace parts if necessary. Check to make sure S-hooks and/or H-shackles are closed properly.
Any damage from vandalism, abuse or misuse VOIDS all warranties.
