Installation: Our parts are sold as either replacement parts or components of a set, unless you are buying our Metal Frame Set, therefore these parts need to be installed according to the sets installation instructions. If the installation instructions differ from ours please contact us at 800-227-7529.

Chain should always be attached using the last link in length of chain. Assembly will depend upon use.  Use an S-hook or Shackle to attach chain to swing seat and/or swing hanger. Close according to Fig. A1.19 for Fastening Devices.

Maintenance:   At beginning and end of each play season and once a month during play season, check for rusty or worn chain.   Carefully check hole around fastener to look for wear. Check for vandalism. Replace parts if necessary. Check to make sure S-hooks and/ or H-shackles are closed properly. Maintain detailed inspection and maintenance records for public-use playground equipment.
